Mental Health Practitioner
Zach earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the College of Saint Scholastica, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. While earning his MSW degree, Zach completed a clinical internship at The Guidance Group. He also previously interned at Well-U, a wellness program at the College of Saint Scholastica. Zach has worked in a residential youth treatment facility and in a variety of other settings. Most recently, he has been working with the judicial system in the areas of substance use & dependency. Zach is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (#29088) in the State of Minnesota, and he is practicing under the supervision of Dan Maki, MA, LMFT, LICSW, in pursuit of independent clinical license.
Zach has an interest in working with people of all backgrounds and ages, but he is most interested in working with kids, adolescents, and young adults. He believes these are critical years for developing behavior and emotional regulation.
When not engaged in his social work practice, Zach enjoys hiking in the woods with his dog, going to the gym, cooking, working on his car, and playing computer games.
