Erin L. Durkee, MA


Mental Health Practitioner / Clinical Trainee

With a Masters Degree in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute for Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA, Erin is pursuing licensure to become a marriage and family therapist under the supervision of Dan Maki, MA, LMFT, LICSW. 

Erin has experience in social justice, non-profits, clinical massage therapy, clinical therapy work with clients experiencing chronic pain, developmental/complex trauma and family issues like domestic violence. With training in Somatic Psychology, her integrative approach utilizes a strengths based approach to support clients in their growth and personal journey.

Combining psychodynamic and relational-based theory with polyvagal and somatic regulation, Erin's systemic, biopsychosocial approach is centered around working with clients in the context they live. 

Erin’s areas of professional interest include:

autism spectrum       family systems        acute trauma and complex trauma        anxiety

personality disorders        couples        gender identity        chronic pain

co-occurring identity, addiction and mental health issues

In her free time, Erin also likes to run around in the woods and enjoy the wilderness unique to Northern Minnesota.

When we resume providing in-office sessions, Erin currently sees clients in Duluth on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays and in Virginia on Wednesdays.
