Our COVID-19 Safety Plan
updated June 14, 2021
The Guidance Group is dedicated to supporting the health, happiness, and wellbeing of all of our clients and staff. As our society has faced a rare and widespread public health challenge in the form of COVID-19, we want to do our best to continue to provide mental health and counseling services with the least amount of disruption possible.
In keeping with current recommendations from health & governmental organizations, we have resumed the offering of therapy appointments at our office locations. We are taking new clients for in-person and Telehealth sessions at this time.
As a Healthcare setting, in order to minimize potential exposures and the risk of spread and until further notice, we will continue to require the use of facemasks (covering both nose and mouth) for all clients, visitors and staff.
- Facemasks will be required for in-person sessions and are required to be worn at all times while in the office. This applies to all regardless of vaccination status. For those uncomfortable with or unable to wear masks, we continue to provide services via Telehealth.
- Temperatures will be taken. If you have a high temperature, we will refer you to your healthcare provider, and will reschedule your session.
- Facemasks, hand sanitizer and wipes are made available.
- If you are sick, have a high temperature, a cough, or other symptoms, we ask that you please stay home. Call us at 218-576-5757 to cancel your appointment or request to be seen by telehealth.
What if I don’t have internet access?
Your Guidance Group therapist or staff will talk with you about your unique circumstances and develop a plan to maintain contact / support until you are able to be seen in the office. This may involve contact via telephone.
